New summer hat

I was out shopping with two of my favorite boys and had a gift certificate that I decided to spend on me, not house stuff. This sassy hat was something that won my heart over. I have a great summer hat, but this is a little smaller and will work for those summer days when my big beach hat is just a bit much.
I was able to wear it to the park Monday afternoon as the weather forecast was correct and it was a beautiful weekend and Monday too.  The boys were thrilled to skip their normal schedule and play in the sunshine.  Momma was thankful for the natural Vitamin D.

Day 278

The only thing I haven't figured out is how to take a picture of the crisp cold mornings we have been having. As you can see, there is not a cloud in the sky and it's been so nice to have sunny days, albeit a bit chilly. We were at the park this morning to run off some energy and I wanted to convey somehow our beautiful fall weather God has blessed us with.

Day 233

This morning we braved the chilly weather and spent some time with our friends at the park. One of my girlfriends has a 7 month old girl who is such a sweet little girl and a trooper for hanging out in her car seat. Aaron was having a snack and went over to see what was in the other stroller. He was being very sweet to her and not screaming like he greets other small people and animals. I hope this sweetness continues when baby number 3 joins our crazy household.

Day 62

This afternoon after preschool, I took the boys to the park down the street from the preschool as the sun was out and it was a relatively nice day for March. We all could use a little Vitamin D in our lives and I grabbed my camera to take some shots of the boys. The toddler play structure has a couple of small holes near the platform for the slide. I stuck my little camera in the hole just as AJ was crawling over to the slide. He was so excited to see mom poking her head in to see him.
