Farmer's Market With Grandpa

Day 266

One of our favorite weekly activities is to walk up to the Sammamish farmer's market at the city hall. We normally walk up with grandma, but she was out showing clients houses so the boys and I went up by ourselves. Andy wanted some peaches and a cookie, so we purchased a triple chocolate chip cookie, four white peaches and then headed off to church to have dinner with dad.

Day 231

This evening dad joined us as we made our weekly trek to the Sammamish Farmer's Market. Tonight the fire trucks were there and my boys were super thrilled, especially Aaron, who is in front of Andy and dad trying to get close to the truck. The boys each got to sit in the drivers seat and we learned the trucks start with the push of a button, so we made sure to tell Aaron not to push any buttons.

Day 197

Can you believe I purchased this bunch of mint for only $2? I bought it yesterday at the farmer's market in Sammamish and it smells simply divine. Now how to use it all before it goes bad.

Day 182

Mr. Cool getting ready for the weekly trek to the Sammamish Farmers Market. Aaron just cracks me up. This summer he has decided to wear baseball caps, but on backwards. I bought the boys cheap sunglasses at Fred Meyer back in May when it started to warm up in hopes of attempting to protect some little eyes. He'll wear them for a while and then decide he's had enough. They may be too snug around his ears, but at least they do stay on. I heard a lot of complements on how cute he was this evening.

Day 178

One of the best things about having to run errands sometimes is getting to stop by the local farmer's market. We went to Redmond this morning to do a few errands together as a family and I wanted to stop by the market to pick up some House Bread. This bread is expensive, so it's only going to be a treat every once in a while, but oh my goodness, it is so good. The ingredients are fresh, organic and all local. The family who runs the business are also believers as they used to be part of Crossroads Bible Church, but are now serving in The Downtown Church.

Day 175

It's another Wednesday which means a trip to the Sammamish farmer's market. Luckily, Aaron is starting to feel better, so we were able to go pick up some fresh veggies for dinner. As we were walking back to grandma's house, the boys wanted out of the double stroller. I just had to snap a picture as my boys will only be this little and this sweet for half a moment.
