It was so nice to wake up in my own bed this morning. Andy picked up my camera this morning while I was probably checking my email or twitter and was capturing a few moments of our day. Not the most flattering picture of me, but here you have it.

Day 112
This is what happens when mom doesn't know where her camera is located and the 3 year old has it.
I told Andy to go use the bathroom after breakfast and he was having a grand old time in the bathroom that I kinda forgot about him. Later on in the day I was wondering why my camera was in the bathroom, a little random, but that's my life. When I went to download photos to work on this blog, I discovered the funniest perspective from a three year old boy. You can find the rest of those photos here.

Day 58
I was trying to figure out a picture for today and since it's late, my creative juices started flowing. I thought I would try out one of my settings on my camera and chose the illustration mode. My subject is the bottle of wine I added to my chicken piccata and then we finished it with dinner. One thing I learned is I need to pull out the tripod as with this setting, it does take a while for the camera to do it's thing.

Day 11
The complet
ed beadclub 5th Anniversary bracelet.
Every year, my favorite bead store has a drop-in bracelet event to commemorate their anniversary. This past August was the event, but I went camping with my family in Eastern Washington hoping for camping with no rain. No luck, but that's for another day.
My sweet sister-in-law picked up the bracelet kit and instructions for me. She had left various notes about the construction of the bracelet which were very handy. Today, I finally finished working on the piece. It's not my favorite, but that's fine with me.
This was also a lesson in photographing jewelry. I played around with my camera and the various settings, but lighting was also an issue. If I had lots of extra cash, I would probably buy a better camera and all the gadgets, but I'm going to Hawaii in 14 days :)
