Day 307

Tonight I am hosting the board meeting for the preschool, so after dropping off the boys at grandma's house, I was able to clean most of my house completely interruption free. I also took advantage and moved all the furniture around for a different layout and every spot of my living room has now been vacuumed.

Day 211

My family is starting to come into town for a few days. Mike has taken off the whole week for vacation for our time at the beach and then to work on projects around the house. Today, he had a helper. One of the projects was to nail the bathroom door trim back into the wall. I think all my boys just want to use power tools.

Day 123

How's that for a view?

Today was an absolutely beautiful day in the greater Seattle area. We ran a couple of errands this afternoon and on the way home, Mike wanted to show me this house he found for sale. Lucky for us, the house was open this afternoon, so we took turns walking through the house since both the boys fell asleep in the car. This happens to be the view from the front side of the house. I snapped this shot while Mike was inside looking at the home. It was a beautiful home with over 7,000 square feet of living space, a seven car garage sitting on a bluff over looking Lake Sammamish. I hope my mansion in heaven over looks a lake, since I highly doubt any earthly dwelling will be that nice.

Saturday, Day 3

One of the new updates we want to make to the house is a new light for the entry way. The one we have is probably orginal to the house, circa 1975 and it's ugly. Glass, brass and colored glass to boot. So today we went looking for a new light thanks to some Christmas money we received. I've been really good about having my camera with me at all times and caught this photo of my guys perusing the light aisle together. Mom was so second fiddle during the day.
